Apply now for the SAFCOL Mechanized Harvesting Learnership Programme 2024. SAFCOL invites unemployed youth aged 18 to 35 who wish to pursue a career in Forestry to apply for a 10-month learnership program. Successful applicants will engage in a formal and structured Learnership Program (NQF Level 3), which includes accredited theoretical and practical training.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must be an unemployed youth ages (18 to 35)
- Must have successfully passed matric (Grade 12)
- Must have passion for forestry environment and able to work outdoors
LOCATION:
- Learners will be based at the official SAFCOL training center (Platorand) in Sabie, Mpumalanga Province.
- A monthly stipend will be provided for the duration of the learnership.
Upon successful completion, learners will receive a nationally recognized qualification:
- National Certificate in Forestry: Harvesting (NQF Level 3).
- This program will equip them with
- the knowledge and experience to enhance their employment prospects with forestry companies and contractors, or to establish their own SMME.
