Roles and Responsibilities
- As a Multimedia Intern at TIPS, you will be responsible for the following:
- Craft innovative digital strategies and content creation for various channels.
- Stay ahead of digital trends and contribute fresh ideas. In-depth understanding of digital channels and technologies.
- Assist with conducting media monitoring.
- Marketing activations and exhibitions.
- Supporting TIPS events planning and its conferences, dialogue events, seminars, and workshops and collaborating with project coordinators.
- Support on the TIPS website.
- Maintain TIPS e-database.
- Archiving and storage of communication products.
- Maintain TIPS marketing inventory.
- Assisting with communications and marketing tasks as required.
- Support website administration including making edits and managing content.
- Curate social media content for all social media platforms.
- The Multimedia Intern supports the Communication teams by creating, editing, and managing visual content.
This role includes video editing, graphic design, and content creation for various platforms. Bringing together text, photographs, graphics, illustrations, infographics, layouts, digital animation, video, photography, and audio to create a range of impactful multimedia products that can be viewed on various devices and platforms to diverse audiences using multiple channels.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A bachelor’s or honour’s degree in journalism, Media and Communications, Development Studies, Social Sciences or any other applicable discipline.
