Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, curate, and manage engaging content specifically for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn,
• Assist in planning and executing targeted social media campaigns to increase audience engagement, brand awareness, and community growth.
• Capture and edit photos and videos for use in social media posts, stories, and reels, highlighting events, programmes, and beneficiaries.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on social media performance metrics to optimise future content and campaign strategies.
• Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive online community.
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices relevant to the non-profit sector.
• Support other communications and marketing activities as needed, with a focus on digital engagement.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a demonstrated interest in social media content creation and management.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and basic analytics tools.
• Ability to produce creative, engaging, and impactful digital content.
• Experience with photo and video editing software is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for humanitarian causes.
