The Opportunity
Internal Communication and Engagement
- Draft, edit, and design engaging internal communication materials, including newsletters, employee emailers, intranet stories, presentations, and event invitations.
- Assist in managing the internal communications calendar to ensure alignment with company milestones, campaigns, and global initiatives.
- Write and publish employee-focused content, including feature stories, leadership interviews, and team highlights for internal platforms (e.g., intranet, message boards & channels, newsletters).
- Conduct research and brainstorm creative opportunities to strengthen internal communications and employee engagement.
- Capture and edit high-quality photographs at internal events, staff engagements, and campaign activations for internal use.
Event and Campaign Support
- Support the planning, coordination, and promotion of internal events such as town halls, awareness campaigns, and staff engagement activities.
- Contribute to the development of internal campaigns that reinforce company culture, values, and strategic priorities.
- Assist with logistics and documentation of internal communication initiatives and events.
Digital Platforms and Content Management
- Help manage intranet content, ensuring it remains current, accurate, and engaging.
- Support the publication of news, updates, and leadership messages on digital platforms.
- Monitor analytics and feedback to evaluate communication effectiveness and suggest improvements.
Administrative and Operational Support
- Assist with reporting on internal communication activities and engagement metrics.
- Maintain communication assets such as templates, photo libraries, and message trackers.
- Provide administrative support for meetings, scheduling, and internal communication planning.
Who you are
- Tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or Media Studies.
- Maximum 1 year of professional work experience.
- Strong writing, editing, and visual communication skills.
- Basic photography and design experience (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
- Creative, organized, and adaptable with excellent attention to detail.
- Passionate about corporate storytelling, culture, and employee engagement.
